How many pictures will we receive?

Every session is a little different because every family is different. I don’t like to put a number on the beautiful moments we capture together. Your final gallery will be carefully edited and filled with the photographs that tell your story best — the big moments, the little details, and everything sweet in between.

What’s the best time to have a session with a newborn?

Those first weeks with your baby are so tender and fleeting, and they’re a beautiful time to photograph. But please don’t worry if those first weeks have already passed. Your baby is changing every day, and every stage brings something new and wonderful to remember.

What is the best way to help our kids cooperate during the session?

The best thing you can do is make sure your little ones are well rested and have eaten before the session. Bring their favorite snacks and plenty of water too — little breaks are always welcome!

And a little bribery never hurts. 😉 With my own kids, I’ll sometimes tell them whoever gives me the “best smiles” gets ice cream after dinner. Whatever little treat or reward works for your family is perfectly okay with me. Most importantly, don’t worry if your kids aren’t perfectly cooperative. They’re kids! We’ll let them play, move around, be silly, and have fun — sometimes those are the moments that make the sweetest photographs.

How should we dress for our family session?

Please don’t worry about figuring this out on your own — I’m here to help you. We’ll choose a location and color palette together, and I’ll guide you through putting everyone’s outfits together. I want you to feel beautiful, comfortable, and most importantly, like yourselves.

We don’t feel very confident in front of the camera, is that ok?

Of course. Most families tell me this, and you truly don’t need to know what to do. I’ll gently guide you along the way, but mostly I want you to love on your babies, hold them close, play, laugh, and be together. You take care of loving your family — I’ll take care of the rest.
